CDR Rodney Hill, USN (Ret.), previously working in Enrollment Management and as Counsel to the Office of the President, will assume the duties of Interim Dean of the Academy. He served as a military educator for eight of his 23 years of active service, teaching at both Navy Surface Warfare Officer School and the Defense Information School (DINFOS). He is a Master Training Specialist, and developed A.C.E. accredited curricula at DINFOS. He served as the DINFOS Director of Training for Public Affairs and Journalism, where he led a staff of 40 instructors teaching 15 courses that graduated 1,500 students annually. CDR Hill earned his BA in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and his MA in Public Communication from American University. He is a graduate of Navy Nuclear Power School, Surface Warfare Officer School and the Defense Information School.
