Former Commandant Frank E. Meek, Jr. Dies
(1919 - February 11, 2007 at 87) 1971-72 DINFOS Commandant.

On March 5, Indianapolis Star describes a rich life from a faceoff with General of the Army Col. MacArthur in World War II to pioneer work in civilian broadcasting.

A standard obituary appeared in Col. Meek's final hometown Salt Lake Tribune Feb. 28.
